Bill Hero is an annual subscription service, which means that we do not rely on energy retailer commissions for funding. In fact we do not seek or accept any form of commissions, kick backs or inducements from energy retailers at all.

Bill Hero has an existing ‘affiliate program’ which allows partner organisations to offer the Bill Hero service to their members, and receive revenue share for each new member that becomes a Bill Hero subscriber.

We’ve decided to offer our Bill Hero affiliate model on favourable terms for fundraising, to help support hardworking volunteers who devote so much time and energy into raising funds for charitable and community activities.

Our standard affiliate terms are to give 30% of revenue to our affiliate partner for each new subscriber.  Qualifying charities will receive more favourable terms - Bill Hero will give 50% of revenue for each new subscriber to Fundraiser affiliates.

To qualify for this 50% revenue share offer, the payments must go to the bank account of a school, club or registered charity.

3. Tell your supporter community about Charity Power from Bill Hero, and publicise your unique link.

You can launch your Bill Hero for Fundraising campaign through your newsletter, your emails, posters, take-home leaflets, or any other way you choose - all you need to do is make your unique Bill Hero link visible to your supporters.

Every new subscriber that joins via your unique link will count towards your revenue share!

Remember, with Bill Hero, the benefits go both ways -  every new subscriber that joins the service gets our Savings Guarantee which ensures that they just can’t lose. We guarantee we’ll save them more than the price of the annual subscription, and on average, we save new subscribers nearly 8x the cost of the subscription on their very first bill!

Sorry, if a supporter is already a Bill Hero subscriber, they cannot count toward your own Bill Hero for Fundraising referrals.

New subscribers who join via your unique referral link will count.

If one of your supporters is already on a competitively priced plan, it’s possible that the available savings found for them could be lower than the price of the subscription, or they could even be on the absolute best priced plan available.

In this situation, we offer them a choice - they can keep the subscription and get a free two-month extension as a goodwill gesture, or they can cancel immediately for a full refund.

If they choose the cancel & refund option, then the revenue for that subscriber will be $0, and so the revenue shared for that subscriber will also be $0.

Bill Hero reconciles and pays out affiliate commissions monthly, with payments made in the first week of the following month. We’ll deposit your revenue share to your nominated bank account.

Bill Hero affiliate commissions are GST inclusive, and can be paid under a Recipient Created Tax Invoice, making invoicing and GST compliance simple.

Charity Power by Bill Hero is governed by the standard Bill Hero affiliate program Terms and Conditions. and by the Bill Hero Affiliate Program Agreement
